The North Carolina Real Estate Commission publishes disclosure forms for buyers and sellers called Working with Real Estate Agents. There is also an accompanying Q&A document, available below, which answers questions commonly asked by consumers. It is every licensee’s duty to share this disclosure with you at first meaningful contact. The disclosure form IS NOT A CONTRACT but rather an explanation of the types of agency options available to you when working with a licensee. The forms also identifies some of the obligations owed you by a licensee of real estate. Not all practitioners of real estate are licensees. For example, builders and property managers may employ salespersons that are not licensed by the state. All Daymark Realty agents are licensed by the North Carolina Real Estate Commission and members of the local Multiple Listing Service (MLS), North Carolina Association of Realtors® and National Association of Realtors®.
